The incumbent will assist scientific staff with converting design plans into CAD files, manage outsourced CNC machining of parts, and assist with programming of embedded systems and controller software for new equipment and manufacturing components. Assay Developer, Lead Scientist
Assay Development: The Company is launching assays to enrich unlabelled rare cells from mixed cell populations such as blood, enabling therapeutic and diagnostic applications using these rare cells. Cell enrichment as well as cell depletion methods will be applied to develop a range of assays that support both R&D and clinical programs. Rare cells range from stem cells, fetal cells, to cancer cells. Knowledge of isolation and identification of rare cells is important, and experience with downstream analysis by immunofluorescence labeling, qPCR, next gen sequencing, and other methods is essential.
